This role is central to delivering a world-class, integrated transport network, strengthening regional and national connectivity, and securing the investment needed to drive long-term economic growth.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Tees Valley Mayor and Cabinet, you will provide executive leadership across four key functions: Transport, Infrastructure, Digital, and Investment Development.
You will oversee the successful delivery of major transport and infrastructure projects, working with government departments, national agencies, and local partners to ensure Tees Valley’s priorities are championed and achieved.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your work – from representing Tees Valley at Transport for the North and Rail North, to engaging with local authorities on transport plans, funding streams, and investment alignment.
Beyond transport, you will guide the Authority’s Digital Strategy, embedding digital innovation across programmes, while ensuring the Strategy & Investment Development function maximises the impact of every investment made.
As an ambassador for Tees Valley, you will raise the region’s profile nationally and internationally, while ensuring best practice in governance, financial management, and workforce engagement.
