Brook Street is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our award-winning client in Ballymena for a Groupage Transport Planner to join their dynamic and growing logistics team.
Our client is a market-leading transport and logistics provider, delivering comprehensive haulage, warehousing, recycling, and asset disposal services across the UK and Ireland.
As a key member of the Groupage Team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations across the UK and Ireland. This involves working closely with drivers, sub-contractors, and customers to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning daily driver schedules and vehicle routing
2.
Prepare electronic manifests and delivery documentation for drivers and sub-contractors
3.
Communicate with customers to provide regular updates and resolve any queries
4.
Accurately input data into the Transport Management System (TMS)
5.
Carry out general administrative duties to support the transport team
Essential Criteria:

Proven experience in groupage transport planning
7.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and third parties
8.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
9.
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
