I'm recruiting for a Senior ITSM Tooling Architect to support large-scale, secure digital transformation programmes within highly regulated environments. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role, ideal for someone who enjoys designing robust ITSM solutions, working across modern and legacy technologies, and collaborating within high-performing Agile teams.
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical services where security, resilience, and service excellence are essential.
The role
As a Senior ITSM Tooling Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring delivery excellence in support of customers\' digital transformation priorities. Working within an Agile delivery team and reporting to the Solution Owner, you will be responsible for producing high-quality design documentation across a wide range of ITSM tooling solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering ITSM tooling solutions of varying size and complexity
* Producing technical designs and implementation plans that balance security, resilience, cost, and practicality
* Working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to develop effective, customer-focused solutions
* Supporting deployments across secure, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
* Demonstrating best practice in data security and compliance
* Acting as a trusted technical authority, giving customers confidence in solution design and delivery
Skills and experience
Essential experience includes:
* Extensive experience designing, installing, configuring, and customising ITSM / Service Desk tooling, ideally including one or more of:
* CA Service Desk Manager
* BMC Remedy
* BMC Helix
* ServiceNow
* Freshworks
* ManageEngine
* Strong experience working within ITSM / ITOM / ITIL / eTOM frameworks (ITIL v4 certification desirable)
* Proven experience delivering large-scale, highly secure, highly resilient ITSM solutions
Technical knowledge across:
* Core infrastructure technologies such as:
* Windows Server
* Active Directory & Group Policy
* PKI and certificate management
* Scripting, development, and reporting tools, including:
* SQL scripting
* PowerShell
* REST APIs
* C#
* Power BI
* SQL Server Reporting
