A market leading team within a global consultancy seeks an experienced Valuation Senior Surveyor/ Associate to join its Affordable Housing team within the UK Residential Value and Risk Advisory business. The ideal candidate will be a skilled valuer, capable of managing complex social housing portfolio valuations, fostering client relationships, and driving business development. RICS Registered Valuer status is essential, but prior social housing experience is not required.
Role: Senior Surveyor/ Associate Director (Affordable Housing Valuation)
Salary: £50,000- £65,000 basic salary plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
Location: Birmingham
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting a Senior Director in delivering valuations for loan security purposes.
* Managing complex portfolio valuations of social housing assets.
* Engaging with clients, including lenders and borrowers, to explain and justify valuation approaches and assumptions.
* Handling large amounts of data, conducting analysis, and preparing detailed valuation reports.
* Maintaining and enhancing client relationships while identifying opportunities for business development.
* Cover a wide geographical area, with a focus on Birmingham and the surrounding regions.
