As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. You will help drive the kitchen team, maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, and contribute to the development of innovative menus that align with Woolfox’s wellness-focused ethos.*Key Responsibilities** Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and assume leadership in their absence.* Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.* Assist in menu planning, development, with a focus on seasonal ingredients.* Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in accordance with regulations.* Monitor stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.* Collaborate with other departments to support events, and special dining experiences.*Requirements** Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-end or wellness-focused establishment.* Strong leadership and communication skills.* Passion for healthy, seasonal, and sustainable cooking.* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.* Culinary qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) preferred.* Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required (days off for this role would be Monday and Tuesday).*What We Offer** Opportunity to work in a stunning, purpose-driven environment.* Career development and training opportunities.* Staff wellness discounts.* Free meals on shift.Please note that this is a general description of duties and responsibilities for this position.
