We are looking for a Design & Technology Technician to join a forward-thinking and ambitious secondary school in Reading. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a creative and well-equipped department that values hands-on learning and design innovation.
Experience and Qualifications
• Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a workshop environment
• Strong understanding of tools, materials, and machinery
• Experience with CAD/CAM, 3D printers, and laser cutters desirable
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and awareness of safety regulations
• Ability to support teachers and pupils with projects and prototypes
