Temp Electronics Test Technician – PCB Testing
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00–15:30, Friday 07:00–12:30
Weekend overtime available
We’re looking for a hands-on Electronics Test Technician to manually test PCBs and sub-assemblies in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test electronic boards according to established procedures
2. Inspect assemblies and route cards for completeness and accuracy
3. Handle components carefully to minimize loss
4. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the test area
5. Communicate clearly with colleagues and escalate issues to the Production Supervisor / Manager
6. Follow ESD standards and Health & Safety procedures
Essential Experience & Skills:
7. Minimum 2–3 years’ hands-on experience testing electronic PCBs in a production setting
8. Familiarity with high voltage test equipment
9. Experienced in using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, function generators, and other electronic test tools
10. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
11. Knowledge of ESD precautions
