What You Will Be Doing;
* Leading and managing the Safer Travel Team, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred risk assessments and safeguarding practices.
* Overseeing eligibility decisions for transport services, ensuring compliance with SEND and Adult Social Care policies.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and service users to support responsive service delivery.
* Analysing service data and feedback to drive operational improvements and efficiency.
* Managing budgets and resources to ensure effective, compliant, and value‑for‑money service delivery.
What We're Looking For;
* A professionally qualified candidate (e.g., NEBOSH General Cert/Tech IOSH) or someone willing to work toward a relevant qualification.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with experience managing teams and complex priorities.
* Experience building effective relationships with senior stakeholders, partners, and service users.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to improve service quality and efficiency.
