Responsibilities
* Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and follow Safe Systems of Work
* Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required
* Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager
* Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency
Qualifications
* Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering
* Background in manufacturing with experience in both planned and reactive maintenance roles
* Strong commitment to root cause analysis and problem‑solving
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
* Team player keen to learn from others, share knowledge and support the wider team
* Proactive and motivated individual ready to take the next step in their career
