Deputy Shop Manager – Oxfam
The role involves being commercially aware, motivating the work team, creating a safe and energised environment, achieving results and managing business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and maintenance of a successful, inclusive and diverse team to manage day‑to‑day shop activities.
* Apply commercial awareness to support effective retail processes and strong merchandising.
* Collaborate with the Shop Manager and build positive relationships with colleagues and the local community.
* Demonstrate resilience to daily pressures, manage conflicting demands and seek support when needed.
* Remain numerate and financially literate, interpreting basic financial reports, monitoring budgets and maintaining shop administrative systems.
