Your Role
As an Integrated Manufacturing Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient, sustainable, and high-quality production. This multi-skilled position offers you the chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility, where you’ll provide engineering maintenance support to our advanced manufacturing assets and equipment.
Our cutting-edge technologies include:
* Automated equipment with robots
* Automated welding and joining systems
* Laser joining systems
* Automated conveyors
* Complex tooling and lifting equipment
Whether you’re an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or a multiskilled engineer, we’ll provide you with the training and support you need to excel. You’ll have access to industry-leading training programs, including Siemens, Kuka Robotics, and ABB Robotics training.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime while adhering to safe working practices
* Conducting preventive maintenance checks and ensuring timely completion
* Implementing permanent corrective actions for recurring issues
* Carrying out weekend and shutdown work as required
* Embracing ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering
* Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with CNC Machining Centres and conveyor systems
* Experience in machining Aluminium or Steel, or a background in maintenance within a high-volume production setting
* A solid understanding of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques
