Role Overview
Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and to observe all instructions to act on their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for our residents. Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
2. Advising families of residents and GPs of any concerning changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
3. Supervising and deploying staff within the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
4. Providing high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.

Candidate Requirements
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC registration.
* Have a minimum of 2 years' experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic qualifications.
* Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Possess sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
