The School and Role
We are looking for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small nursery school, operating at the heart of the community in Hebburn, South Tyneside. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general and one-to-one support, working as part of an established team in the early years section of the school. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who has experience working with young children with special educational needs and disabilities, however would be open to other qualifications and experience if relevant.
Requirements
The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;
* Experience of working in Early Years Foundation Stage
* Experience of working 1:1, with pupils with SEND
* Experience delivering small group interventions and support
* A passion for ensuring the progress of early years pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
* Ideally Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, however other relevant experience is desirable
