Offer description

Thrive Tribe creates long-term habit and behaviour change through a range of lifestyle and wellbeing programmes.

Engagement & Partnership Officer

Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier. It’s a really exciting time to join the Heathier You NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, as we’re looking for an Engagement and Partnership Officer to join the team!

The programme is designed to support individuals with diagnosed pre-diabetes (HbA1c reading 42 – 47.9 mmol/L), to make long term behavioural. The programme also includes specialist pathways for those with a history of pregnancy related diabetes (GDM, South Asian populations, as well as a programme for deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL).

As Engagement and Partnership Officer you will be responsible for promoting the programme across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, working closely with the Service Manager and local GP Surgeries / Primary Care Networks (PCN’s) and other stakeholders to generate referrals and foster successful working partnerships. There will also be a requirement to work with our centralised marketing team to ensure maximum visibility and promotion of the service across the county.

Your role will include working towards achieving targets based on referral volumes, as well as ensuring our service is equitable, and is well promoted across patient groups with wider health inequalities.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role, and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as an Engagement & Partnership Officer might include:

•Reviewing referral levels vs profile and highlighting trends and areas of focus.

•Liaising with practices around the promotion of the programme (such as referral campaigns, ordering marketing materials, organising webinars), including in person visits and presentations at Practice/PCN Meetings.

•Maintaining an up-to-date record of service stakeholders and assisting with the dissemination of communications with partner organisations.

•Liaising with external organisations to build effective partnerships and promotion of the Healthier You service particularly within primary care locations, voluntary and community services.

•Working in partnership with Thrive Tribe’s centralised marketing team on marketing and communications plans, such as promotional campaigns.

•Leading on outreach activities with an aim to drive engagement across the service and exceed our KPIs.

•Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

Be big-hearted

You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, you want to do meaningful work and change lives.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some knowledge or experience in networking, referral generation and/or partnership management, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches on how to engage those experiencing them into health promotion services.

However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you don’t have all the necessary experience but feel you are right for the role we would love to hear from you!
