To be considered for the Quantity Surveyor role, you must have:
1. Possess relevant qualifications
2. Access to own car
3. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality work
4. Previous experience in similar roles is preferred, but newly qualified individuals are also encouraged to apply
5. Familiarity with construction software, particularly PriceAJob, will be advantageous to effectively measure and track project progress.
6. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
As a Quantity Surveyor, your role will involve:
7. Prepare and manage project budgets and costs
8. Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality assurance
9. Measure and value the work completed
10. Assist in the preparation of tender documents
11. Engage in meetings to discuss project progress and budget adherence
12. Work closely with the project team, including senior team members
13. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on-site
