Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Bond Street, London (fully in office)
Pay: £23 - £25 per hour
Duration: Temporary 3 months
Hours/Days: Monday- Friday 9am-5:30pm
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team. You will play a key role in producing accurate financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing analysis to support business decision-making. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
Assist with the annual budget and periodic forecasting process
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
Analyse financial data and performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Liaise with department heads to support financial understanding and control
Provide financial insight and support for business planning and strategic decisions
Support external audits with relevant financial data and reports
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Key Requirements:
Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Proven experience in a management accounting role (typically 3+ years)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
Advanced Excel skills and confidence using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Xero)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
