Working Arrangements: Mon‑Thu 9‑5, Fri 9‑4.30 inc. agile working

International experience: Must provide reasonable account of any significant period (6 months or more in the past 3 years) of time living abroad.

Responsibilities
* Work to ensure all residents have safe, warm, energy‑efficient homes.
* Deliver fuel‑poverty initiatives to improve home energy efficiency.
* Provide support and advice to residents to save on energy bills.
* Collaborate with residents, partners, businesses and organisations to deliver the best outcomes.
* Actively plan and lead community events, support grant applications and sign‑post residents.
* Manage grant programmes and administer related tasks.
* Represent the team in internal and external meetings and training sessions.
* Operate in a hybrid environment, travelling through the borough and spending fixed days in the office.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in energy efficiency or housing advice.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with vulnerable residents.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Pro‑active initiative to collaborate with council and external partners.
* Experience organising community events and facilitating grant application processes.
* Strong communication skills, including speaking English to an appropriate standard.
* Basic Criminal Record Check clearance.
