We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Fourstones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as hands-on experience with both power and hand tools. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our operations while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
* Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs and installations.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations across all departments.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in an on-call rota one week in every six, with additional pay provided for each day on call.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to electrical work.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical maintenance are desirable but not essential.
