Business Development Manager – Logistics / Transport / Freight Forwarding
£40,000 Basic + BMW Company Car + Quarterly Bonus (8% of Annual Salary)

Interaction Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a leading logistics provider specialising in UK and European full and part‑load solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding to join the team.
The Role
This is a fully field‑based, new-business focused position with no set territories, giving you complete flexibility to target clients across the UK and Europe. You’ll manage your own diary, work from home, and spend the majority of your week out meeting prospective customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Generating new business through cold calling, networking, and self-sourced leads
Booking and attending your own client meetings
Identifying, pitching, and securing full and part‑load opportunities
Developing long-term customer relationships and managing existing accounts
Accurately updating activity and pipeline through the CRM system
Regular travel across the UK and occasional European travel as required
Working from home when not on visits WFH
What We’re Looking For
Proven background in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding
Strong hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
Ability to build rapport quickly and present confidently to clients
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own schedule
Full UK driving licence
