About the Role
The Shift Manager (Nights) will lead a team across four assembly lines in the high-care area responsible for ready-made and cooked meals.
You will be at the heart of overnight production, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a visible leadership role that plays a vital part in maintaining product quality, output, and team performance throughout the night shift. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position and make a real impact in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of approx. 40 across four production lines during night shifts
* Drive operational performance against key metrics including productivity, waste, hygiene, and compliance
* Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to develop frontline staff
* Collaborate with other Shift Managers and Operations teams to ensure seamless shift transitions
About You
This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in high-pressure environments and has a proven ability to manage people and processes effectively.
