My client, a global supplier of accessories, selling both to retail and wholesale, are looking to hire a Head of Sales who will report into the Commercial Director. This is a newly created role which will be pivotal in helping the business achieve their five year growth plan.
As the Head of Sales key focuses will be new business development, international expansion, and margin protection.Youwill be part of the senior management team, working closely with Design, Product Development, QA, and Wholesale. Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with the company's 5-year growth objectives
2. Identify and securing new retail and international accounts to drive revenue growth
3. Lead the development of new product category strategies in collaboration with design and product development teams
4. Monitor and manage sales performance, ensuring targets and margins are met or exceeded
5. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
6. Manage and mentor the Key Account Managers and New Business Development Executive
7. Foster a high-performance, target-driven culture within the sales team
8. Champion the development of strong, strategic relationships with both existing and prospective customers, ensuring long-term partnerships that support sustainable growth
