Role – Business Development Manager
Seeking an accomplished, innovative and critical-thinking Business Development Manager, to be based at our London Heathrow UK Headquarters. In this senior-level role, you’ll be responsible for cultivating client partnerships and identifying and securing new business opportunities in order to expand our presence in the market and drive growth.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a proven track record of success in developing new business opportunities primarily, but not exclusively, in our core markets of focus – Indian Subcontinent and Asia – and a broad knowledge of our key verticals: Retail/Garment/Textiles, Healthcare, Beauty & Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts
Lead on client engagements at every stage – from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure
Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and deliver client-focused solutions
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning
Gain verified information on existing and potential clients’ freight requirements
Represent the company at client meetings and industry events
