At Infinity Energy Engineering Limited we are a fully independent Owner’s Project Management and Engineering Consultancy delivering safe, effective and owner‑aligned solutions across the full asset lifecycle, from development projects and operational assets through to late‑life operations and decommissioning.
We support a wide range of asset owners and operators across the UKCS and internationally, providing integrated Owner’s Project Management (OPM), project engineering and PMO services that help clients deliver projects safely, efficiently and with confidence.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand from our clients, we are seeking multiple experienced Project Managers to join our team.
The Role
As a Project Manager within Infinity, you will act as an extension of the asset owner’s organisation, leading projects from early concept and maturation through Final Investment Decision (FID), execution, commissioning and handover to operations.
You will manage Major Capital Projects and/or Brownfield Facilities Modifications within complex operational environments, ensuring delivery aligns with client objectives for safety, cost, schedule, quality and operational performance.
This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to integrate engineering, procurement, construction, operations and stakeholder requirements into a cohesive delivery strategy.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within fast‑paced delivery environments and applying structured Stage Gate processes and governance frameworks to assure predictable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects through all lifecycle phases including concept select, define, execute, commissioning and handover
* Deliver projects in accordance with client governance and Stage Gate processes
* Manage and integrate project scope, cost, schedule, risk, change and performance
* Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans (PEPs), project controls and reporting frameworks
* Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and contractor teams to achieve project objectives
* Manage interfaces between operations, engineering, vendors, construction teams and third‑party stakeholders
* Drive safe project delivery with HSE as a core priority throughout all phases of execution
* Support procurement and contract management activities including tender evaluations and contractor performance management
* Lead project reviews, risk workshops, readiness reviews and assurance activities
* Ensure effective stakeholder engagement with internal and external parties including Joint Venture Partners, OPRED, NSTA, HSE, Supply chain and installation contractors
* Provide leadership during offshore execution campaigns and site activities where required
* Support development of project schedules, cost estimates and forecasting activities
* Ensure robust Management of Change (MoC) processes are implemented and maintained
* Deliver clear and concise project reporting to clients and senior leadership teams
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across Infinity’s project delivery and PMO services
Key Qualifications
* Substantial experience in Project Management
* Significant experience delivering offshore energy projects within operator or asset owner environments
* Proven experience managing Brownfield Facilities Modifications and/or Major Capital Projects
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle delivery from concept through execution and handover
* Experience operating within structured Stage Gate governance processes
* Demonstrated capability of integrating Cost, Schedule, Risk, Change and Contractor performance
* Experience managing multidisciplinary contractor and engineering teams
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Familiarity with UKCS regulatory environment and offshore project delivery requirements
* Strong commercial awareness and contract management capability
* Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced and dynamic project environments
* Experience supporting full lifecycle projects i.e. developments, late‑life operations and/or decommissioning projects
* Knowledge or management of lump‑sum EPC/EPCI contract execution models
* Experience working with Joint Ventures and regulatory authorities
* APM (Association of Project Management) qualification
* PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification
