We are looking for an IT Support Assistant with some prior applicable experience who will provide first line support in our Stockport office to our user base of 190 people across the UK and Ireland.
This will be a fixed term position for 12 months working 40 hours Monday to Friday.
We are looking for
* A NVQ Level 3 in IT or general computing.
* Prior experience with IT support.
* Routinely respects and understands data confidentiality and corporate IT security.
* Shows a commitment to their own continued learning and development.
* Prior experience with business administration.
* A responsive and enthusiastic personality.
* The ability to live and work in the UK with no visa restrictions.
The role will involve
* Installing and removing software.
* Assist with the procurement of IT hardware and software.
* Basic technical troubleshooting for all IT users in the UK and Ireland including site-based colleagues.
* Assist with the configuration of new laptops and mobile phones.
* Assist with system maintenance and testing.
* Any other reasonable IT tasks.
