Pre-Need Administrator – FTC 12 Months
Location: Choice Office – Torquay
Salary: £26,437 per annum
Contract: 12-month fixed‑term
Working Hours: 8 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00
The Opportunity
We are looking for a customer-focused professional with a can‑do attitude and a knack for administration to join our team as a dedicated Administrator. You will support the sales of funeral plans, provide expert advice, and ensure seamless operations within our extensive network of funeral homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service tailored to each customer, ensuring enquiries and specific needs are met.
* Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, and forms, and assist in preparing scheduled reports.
* Handle daily office tasks such as answering calls, processing payments, compiling spreadsheets, and filing.
* Address administrative requests and inquiries from branch employees, clients, and third‑party affiliates.
* Ensure accurate recording of all plan sales and redemptions, maintaining comprehensive administrative records.
* Assist with employee training and support the rollout of new initiatives to promote best practices.
* Produce weekly KPI reports and monitor branch stationery orders, ensuring budget compliance.
* Provide quality client service, handle queries and complaints, and promote our full range of services including funeral pre‑need plans and memorials.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Customer‑focused and results‑oriented.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Competent in all aspects of administration.
* Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a fast‑paced environment, able to work under pressure.
* Strong numeracy, literacy, and reasoning abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to manage stressful situations.
* FCA regulated: complete required training, engage in CPD, act in accordance with FCA Conduct Rules and Principles, support vulnerable customers.
