Digital Content Assistant
We are looking for a Digital Content Assistant to join our creative team at i-escape, based in Bristol (UK). You will primarily be updating and maintaining our award-winning hotel and villa reviews to ensure they remain accurate, informative and enticing. This post is suited to a bright, organised person with a meticulous eye for detail and a brilliant multi-tasking mind; a passion for travel and beautiful places goes without saying.
This is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate looking to start out (or take the next step) in curated writing and content management. It’s a hybrid/remote role, working 1 day per week in our Bristol office (possibly more during initial training), and the rest from home. It's a full-time (37 hours per week) position, but part-time (4 days per week) will also be considered.
Your responsibilities:
* Keeping our hotel and villa review pages up to date and accurate using two bespoke content management systems. This involves data inputting, copyediting, liaising with hotel partners, and incorporating additional feedback from guests and staff
* Refreshing and maintaining photo galleries across our website, using Photoshop or Adobe Elements to photo-edit
* Editing and uploading itineraries for our tour partners
* Assisting our Marketing Executive with writing social posts across all of our channels
* Updating and writing posts for The Edit, our travel inspiration blog
* Writing reviews from scratch on an occasional basis
Your skills and experience:
* Superb organisational skills
* A detail-orientated mind with rigorous attention for spotting discrepancies
* Excellent writing and subbing skills
* A good visual sense, with an eye for what makes a strong photo
* A relevant university degree
* The tenacity and persuasiveness to chase hotel, rental and tour partners for missing information or photos
* The ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently
* A keen interest in travel
* A friendly, easy-going manner to fit in with our small Bristol-based team
* Some experience in producing website content, such as your own blog or other WordPress site, will help
* Familiarity with Photoshop (or other photo-editing software) will also be advantageous
Some of the perks of working for i-escape include:
* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus up to 10 days to visit i-escape hotels
* Staff discounts for amazing boutique hotels in the UK and the rest of the world
* Company pension scheme, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme
* Some flexibility on working hours
* The opportunity to quickly become an integral part of a team, contributing ideas and making a difference to the business
* A fun atmosphere, with some social events and company-funded treats
Please apply to our Editor (lucy@i-escape.com), attaching your CV and a cover letter explaining why you’re perfect for the role. Please also include your current job status and salary.
* Application closing date is 3 April 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short editing task in order to be considered for interview.
