About the Role
We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be part of our Facilities Team, helping to keep the school clean, tidy, and running smoothly. No two days are the same — from general daily cleaning to supporting special deep-cleaning projects during school holidays, your attention to detail will help create a space our students and staff are proud of.
While experience is a bonus, what matters most is your can-do attitude, trustworthiness, and willingness to get stuck in.
Your Main Responsibilities:
1. Carry out daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, and shared areas
2. Clean fixtures, fittings, floors, walls, and internal woodwork in line with cleaning schedules
3. Maintain toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas to high standards
4. Help with deep-cleaning programmes during school closures or designated breaks
5. Collect and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
6. Refill and replace supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
7. Keep cleaning materials organised and stored securely
You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team where everyone’s contribution is valued — because we know a clean, safe school helps our young people feel calm, comfortable, and ready to learn.
Who We’re Looking For:
8. A positive, dependable team player
9. Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to the little things
10. Able to work independently and as part of a team
11. Previous cleaning experience is helpful — but not essential
12. A friendly, respectful approach and willingness to learn
