JOB: Internal Sales Engineer
LOCATION: South Oxfordshire
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: GBP 35,000 : GBP 42,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience
My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the South Oxfordshire area.
The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering
: Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone
: Be able to work well individually as well as a team
: Previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment would be ideal
: Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, gears, power, machines etc.
: Be proficient with using MS Office applications
: CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage
: Training will give on both the product and sales side of things
: A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential
The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:
: Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager
: Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service
: Ensuring sales requirements match customers' needs
: Preparing quotations as required
: Working over the phone with customers'
: Helping to develop sales to both new and existing customers' offering the correct solutions
: Providing support to the external sales team with commercial support
: Selecting the appropriate products
: Working with the company CRM system
