– £35,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and qualifications Hours

Our office in Rochester, Kent are looking for a professional tax candidate to join their established tax team. We are considering different levels and qualifications and are open to candidates looking for part time hours. A mixed tax role, you will be producing advisory work for a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses and supporting the Directors of the tax team. We are looking for individuals with initiative to develop their careers and provide a first class service to our clients in both compliance and advisory areas. Key responsibilities of a Tax Senior will include: Review and support to the compliance team responsible for the preparation of personal tax returns for a range of client's Review and support relating to corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department Managing a varied portfolio including planning and advisory projects Preparation/Review of capital gains tax computations for inclusion within self-assessment returns, together with completion of 60-Day CGT Declarations to HMRC Preparing/Reviewing ERS and EMI returns Review of forms P11D & P11D(b) and PSA calculations Ad hoc work relating to capital tax reporting, inheritance tax and Estate work Liaising directly with HMRC in relation to enquiries and investigations Supporting and mentoring the more junior members of the team.
