We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to join our Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team and play a key role in the development of our cutting-edge Aerospace technology.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for testing products across the product portfolio, ensuring they meet the required standards for mechanical and thermal sub-system and system level functionality, safety, capabilities and performance. This involves working with complex test equipment and conducting electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, thermal vacuum and vibration testing in accordance with established test protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience as a Test Technician ideally in a regulated industry (Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, Automotive)
* Experience of environmental testing within a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of testing equipment, specifically – Thermal vacuum chambers, thermal chamber, laser scanner, tensile pull tester, etc.
* To be proficient in test procedures and protocols
* Report writing and document analysis skills
* Knowledge of RF vector analyser, and data loggers (including thermocouples, accelerometers) Modal testing and photogrammetry would be advantageous
