This is critical to the success of the business and as such, duties include:- Preparation of monthly management Information Management of cashflow Management of the accounts department, ensuring adequate controls in place Strategic planning for growth and development of the business Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met Cost control Credit risk management Foreign currency management Payroll preparation and submission Supplier payments in GBP/EUR/USD Capital expenditure and fixed asset register Year-end procedures in respect of statutory accounts preparation Archiving and document retention in line with statutory regulation Annual Insurances and risk management Overseeing Accounting software development Responsibility for the adequacy and security of IT systems and liaison with IT Implementation of measures to mitigate fraud The Candidate Our client is hoping to secure a candidate with experience working in a similar role. You will be comfortable with all the tasks listed and with working in a stand alone setting or small team (in this role there is one direct report). Our client is a small business with global connections, so you will be able to work across multiple currencies and be happy to role your sleeves up and get involved where and when required. Terms Based in Chesham, our friendly, family owned client offers a flexible working environment. Although they are ideally looking for a full-time candidate, they are open to considering part time (30 per week) hours. The role is office based and parking is available. Salary will be discussed upon application, however, there is flexibility depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.
