At BFBS Forces News we are experts in one of the busiest topics there is right now, and your content will be seen by more than 2 million subscribers. Your work will include creating engaging platform native content that connects with our audience and performs across social channels.
The job in a nutshell
* Producing, editing and publishing short-form video content across X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
* Creating pacey, platform-specific edits optimised for vertical and square formats
* Writing concise, engaging captions and on-screen narrative text in line with house style
* Filming events, interviews and reactive content on mobile and delivering quick turnarounds
* Designing thumbnails, picture carousels and story assets using Adobe tools
Here is what we’re looking for
Someone with a journalism qualification, advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, proven ability to turn around fast‑paced, imaginative and accurate social videos – and an ability to work collegiately with reporters, editors and producers.
You’ll need to be able to work from our office (2 days minimum in the office) near Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire.
