Overview
We are looking for the right people to join a team of SELF-EMPLOYED CARERS to work with a young 22-year-old man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy living in the family home.
Hours
18 hours are available to cover evenings and weekends.
What we are looking for
We are looking for caring, proactive, and motivated individuals with a passion for supporting others, ideally someone with a good sense of humour and who is down to earth. Someone willing to support with all aspects of care. Ideally, these people will be reliable, consistent, and work in a person-centred way.
Experience and training
* Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
* A positive attitude and good work ethic is essential.
* You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
* A driver with a full, clean license and insurance is required for work purposes.
* You must have up-to-date DBS.
* You must provide evidence of liability insurance and regular invoices; payment will be made electronically.
