In this role, you'll work towards your Level 4 Network Engineer Qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Set up and look after network equipment such as routers, switches, servers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points. Help build and manage cloud systems, mainly using Microsoft Azure, to keep networks running safely and smoothly. Check network performance and fix problems to make sure everything stays connected and works well. Improve network systems by replacing old equipment, updating settings, and making Wi-Fi stronger and faster. Keep clear records of all work done, including network details, updates, and any changes made. Follow company rules to make sure all changes are safe, backed up, and cause as little disruption as possible. Organise and prioritise daily tasks so that important jobs and customer issues are handled quickly. Communicate with team members, clients, and partners clearly and professionally using email, phone, or online meetings. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge Good communication skills and are able to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical people. Good attention to detail when setting up, testing, or updating network systems. Ability to work well as part of a team and support others when needed. Willingness to learn new technologies and follow instructions carefully. Salary, Hours&Benefits: £18,000 per annum. 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
