This is a hybrid role based in our Exeter office. You will join on a salary of up to £35,000 plus benefits. The role You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of all HomeSafe digital workplace systems (including SharePoint, PowerBi, PowerApps, PIMS, websites etc.) covering the four key cornerstones of HomeSafe across the Pennon Group. This role will place you at the forefront of the HomeSafe Digital Strategy. Pennon is looking to deliver the HomeSafe strategy using systems designed with the customer in mind. You will be able to leverage the broad capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver a modern experience to our employees and contractors alike making it easier for everyone to go HomeSafe.
What you’ll be doing
1. Create ways to continually improve internally owned and controlled HomeSafe data systems (software, dashboards etc).
2. Acting as the HomeSafe Systems architect work with business owners and colleagues to make a modern HomeSafe system with an easy-to-use interface.
3. Be the subject matter technical expert for the Power Platform and Dataverse for all HomeSafe systems.
4. Customising the Dataverse, developing model-driven and canvas apps, business process flows and API integrations with 3rd party systems.
5. Regularly maintain all SWW internally owned and controlled HomeSafe data systems, with a mindset of “we can always make it better”.
6. Document procedures defining clear ownership of the systems and the controls in place to manage document control.
7. Working closely with the safety technical experts try to understand what the data is showing and then use that understanding to create systems that can create business automated reporting.
8. Ensure the integrity of the data inside the HomeSafe systems
9. Ensuring that at all times the data is presented in a way that keeps it secure (from both cyber and physical threat) and GDPR compliant.
10. Search for new sources of data that can be captured and automated to improve the Pennon Group’s understanding of Health and safety performance.
11. Move the HomeSafe system from a data driven system to an information ready system by regularly reviewing how data is captured and used by the HomeSafe Team.
12. Work symbiotically with other data users within the business to assist in creating unified systems that enable HomeSafe to be embedded into the operational risk areas.
13. With the use of the Dataverse create systems that can assist the HomeSafe communications.
14. Ensure that the data is presented in a manner in keeping with Group Policies and procedures as well as maintaining high standards of document control and remain visually aesthetic.
15. Ensure that all solutions are fully tested, documented and subject to all internal approvals.
What we’re looking for
16. Expertise in Power Platform and Dataverse with recent experience of delivering complex solutions.
17. Competence in C# and .Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and experience working with APIs.
18. Experience working within Microsoft 365 and Azure to deliver complex solutions, including strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
19. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
20. Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, and possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
21. Full UK driving license
22. PL-200 Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant would be an advantage
