About the Role
Aureos have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician / Approved Electrician to join our Infrastructure Solutions team, based from our Yeovil depot.
Our electricians are at the heart of what we do, delivering essential electrical works that keep our customers’ operations running safely and efficiently.
You’ll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, supporting installation, maintenance, and testing across a diverse range of sites, ensuring that every job is completed safely, to standard, and with pride.
What Will I Be Doing in This Role?
As part of our Infrastructure Solutions team, you’ll:
* Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing in line with BS7671 and Aureos policies and procedures.
* Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and ensure all works are completed to the highest standard.
* Commission and test electrical systems and issue relevant certification.
* Fault-find and carry out remedial works.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers where required.
* Support and mentor apprentices or trainees as part of your daily role.
What Do I Need to Be Successful in the Role?
We’d love you to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent).
* Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2).
* City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) – desirable.
* ECS Card.
* Full UK driving licence.
