Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Cut Shop Operative to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with CNC experience to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machinery, including Plasma and Press Brake machines, to cut, fold, and shape sheet metal into required forms.
* Manufacture components in accordance with detailed technical engineering drawings.
* Work to production schedules to maximise output and efficiency.
* Ensure all finished materials meet strict quality standards.
* Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar CNC or metal fabrication role is essential.
* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage daily workload effectively.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Reliable, dependable, and committed to workplace safety.
* A valid forklift licence would be advantageous, though not essential.
Visa & English Language Requirement
Applicants must either:
* Hold a valid UKVI IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), or
* Be willing to obtain the UKVI IELTS and achieve a minimum score of 5.5 in each section as part of the recruitment and visa process.
