Business by Design is an expanding facet of the Kurt Geiger Kindness Foundation charity dedicated to empowering young professionals through our tailored learning programme. As part of our expansion, we are seeking an Administrator to support our project delivery efforts.
Main Responsibilities-
Managing Contacts:
1. Responding to Business by Design enquiries via calls, emails, and social media.
2. Directing enquiries to appropriate staff members.
3. Logging all course-related enquiries on relevant databases.
4. Ensuring proper tracking of training monitoring and evaluation data.
Training Programme Management:
5. Uploading files and materials onto course platforms.
6. Assisting with training-related enquiries and directing them to the relevant staff.
Project Support:
7. Providing administrative assistance to Business by Design projects as needed.
8. Communication:
9. Cultivating relationships with young professionals and stakeholders.
10. Distributing resources and communications to stakeholders and external organisations.
11. Online Business by Design Platform
Financial Management:
12. Tracking and inputting Business by Design finances into the database.
13. Business by design budget tracking
General Duties:
14. Attend regular line management meetings and team meetings.
15. Implement and update policies, Health & Safety, safeguarding, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies etc.
16. Maintain contact databases and records.
17. Handle and process incoming post.
18. Manage Academy resources and supplies, including purchase orders and invoices.
19. Assist with drafting and dispatching BBD correspondence.
20. Format Business by Design Policies in line with brand guidelines.
21. Safeguard young people and adults at risk.
22. Assist with other events and projects as needed.
23. External partnerships and relationships
24. Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Head of Business by Design and Charity board of trustees.
Requirements
25. Proven experience in an administration role or similar.
26. Financial literacy.
27. Experience using software such as Excel, Word.
28. Experience working within the charity sector and with young people.
29. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
30. Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with various stakeholders.
31. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful partnerships.
32. Proactive and organised approach to work.
33. Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
34. Familiarity with data protection and safeguarding procedures.
35. Willingness to adapt and assist in various tasks as needed.
36. Work proactively as a team member.
37. Desirable – Worked in a college, school, University – young people/educational setting.
