Job Description
The Induction & Engagement Coordinator supports the Site Leadership Team regarding engagement and retention for both new and existing employees. You will be involved from the employee’s initial on-boarding through to passing their probation, ensuring the employees receive an exceptional first impression and continued all round great experience.
As an Induction & Engagement Coordinator you will develop initiatives, engagement and incentives to improve job satisfaction, reduce turnover and support making Culina the employer of choice.
Fixed term contract/secondment for Maternity leave
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.
Key Duties of Induction and Engagement Coordinator:
1. Support the Central HR Team with feedback on the current end to end recruitment process and make recommendations of improvements where required
2. Lead all new starter engagement and inclusion process
3. Identify and suggests improvements in the all-round new starter experience utilising the data you obtain from the engagement and inclusion process.
4. Work with Site Leadership Team and HR Functions KPI’s to allow you to measure and demonstrate the end to end engagement process is successful
5. Bring to the Site Leaderships attention the potential “Flight Risk” employees.
6. Identify and match in- house training opportunities with appropriate colleagues i.e. First Aiders, Fire Marshalls etc.
7. Engage with warehouse colleagues to create a pool of new starter buddies.
8. Build trusting relationships with warehouse and actively seek feedback on culture and any issues.
9. Feedback to Site Leadership on general areas of concern regarding the culture within the depot and recommendations for improvements
10. Engage with anyone who is exiting the business to obtain constructive feedback which you will collate and relay to the depots relevant site General Manager and HRBP and discuss a plan of improvements.
Qualifications
11. Demonstrable high energy and enthusiasm levels and passion.
12. Strong communication skills and confident with dealing with people at all levels.
13. A good standard of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Applications i.e. Word and Excel or equivalent.
14. Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
15. A good communicator who adapts to and promotes change.
16. Ability to resolve issues effectively and support the implementation of sustainable solutions.
17. Able to work in a fast paced pressurised environment.
