Salary: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours: It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
Availability: The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work (the availability windows). We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if your availability is close to, but not exactly the times advertised, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to ensure safe, effective service and excellent customer experience.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines that meet customer needs.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and how we work together to drive service, sales, reduce waste and deliver profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Representing Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
