Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for supporting and guiding Snows Managers to ensure the correct implementation of HR processes and policies for the business, as well as providing proactive operational support across the Group. This role reports to the HR Director and is part of the overall HR team delivering the wider People Agenda.

Responsibilities
* Take part in delivering Colleague Onboarding with Snows, ID / Right to Work verifications, and assistance throughout the whole employee life cycle.
* Recruitment oversight includes all aspects of recruitment and effective use of iRecruit.
* Work with Managers at all levels to find solutions to reduce / avoid recruit agency spends.
* Organise and facilitate recruitment events where needed, e.g., open days, assessment centres.
* Provide managers with advice and guidance through all HR cases and oversee to an outcome in a timely manner, providing solutions and escalating complex or sensitive issues to the HR Director
* Instil a Performance Management culture using the appropriate tools available and work with Managers on the management of performance of their teams.
Develop a thorough understanding of workforce requirements to assist managers with the planning and deployment of Colleagues.
* Support our Managers with managing all disciplinary, grievance & consultation procedures, ensuring adherence to policy and legislation and a fair and equitable approach.
* Providing all-around HR assistance, acting as the first point of contact for HR questions, and keeping the wider HR team up to date where needed.
* Make recommendations for engagement / wellness and employee relations initiatives to the HRD.
* Ensure HR policies and processes are adhered to and updated where appropriate.
* Involvement in training activities where needed across the Group.
* Offer support and advice to people managers on HR policies, practices and how to apply them.
* Deal effectively & efficiently with ER issues.
* Advise and coach the Directors and Managers of contractual obligations & HR practices where necessary.
* Keep the HR team up to date with any organisational changes for the organisation charts and other relevant amendments.
* Following up with Managers on actions from the Company’s Talent Management Programme.
* Ensuring that company’s procedures comply with UK employment law / regulations.
* Monitoring various aspects of the colleague’s life cycle i.e., performance, attendance, sick leave etc.
* Contribute to the production of management reports and people metrics monthly.
* Involvement in the collation of statutory reports, such as Gender Pay Gap, in a timely manner.
* Assist with due diligence on potential acquisitions, including TUPE transfers.
* Carrying out HR project work to ensure the business remains current & up to date.
* Travel to Dealerships around the Group to coach & support Managers in all people matters.
* Comply with all of Snows policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas.
* A solid understanding of the key principles of employment law.
* The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts.

Essential & Desirable Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Senior HR Advisor or equivalent role.
* CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent.
* Solid experience of recruiting at all levels
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* PC, Microsoft, excel, web literate.
* Level 7 CIPD qualified or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience of leading recruitment.
* Use of CIPHR
* Exposure to TUPE.
* Delivery of L&D initiatives advantageous.
