Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of around 300 accounts across diverse sectors, ensuring customers are up-to-date with payments Engaging directly with clients, resolving queries and chasing debts via phone, email and letter Working collaboratively within a team of 3 credit controllers Handling the accounts email inbox and dealing with any queries Raising credit notes, allocating cash to correct accounts Negotiating and agreeing payment plans for collection of arrears Putting accounts on hold if payments aren’t met Performing credit checks on customers What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Customer Service Advisor / Customer Service Representative / Sales Ledger Clerk Confidence in communicating with customers and maintaining excellent customer service Working knowledge of credit control processes What you will get: Study support to keep you progressing in your career Life insurance package Employee discounts on premium products Free, onsite parking Christmas shutdown Early finishes on Fridays Career development opportunities If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
