Sales Representative/Technical Sales Demonstrator
Your primary responsibilities is obtaining increased sales by looking after an existing database of Automotive & Industrial Distributors along with securing business in other market sectors, such as, Industrial, Marine, Aviation, Windows, Wood etc. You would be responsible for Managing your own diary, building and maintaining relationships with qualified distributors and end users, the role includes conducting work-outs and demonstrations in new and established markets. For this role you would report directly to the Managing Director but work alongside our Business Analyst and Internal Marketing Team.
Duties will include
Demonstrate and promote all current and new products in the Anest Iwata range.
Evaluate, train and motivate new and existing distributor sales personnel.
Continually evaluate the territory distributor framework to assure sufficient coverage and efficiency.
Conduct product and system work-outs and demonstrations for individual and groups (at distributor and end user level).
Execute distributor level product promotions.
Arrange & Conduct training courses.
Update and maintain existing customer database.
Follow up leads and enquiries received and report back on outcomes.
Carry out marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions.
Attend external and internal customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform and aid business development.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Skills/Qualifications
You will possess proven experience in the Coatings industry, a demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers. You must be result-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent, and proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
