Step Teachers are looking for dedicated Special Needs Specialists for daily supply roles around Northolt, starting in November 2025.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex learning needs
* Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
* Working closely with class teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and engagement
* Providing emotional and behavioural support to help pupils reach their full potential
* Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and support provided
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEND) is essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Special Needs Specialist
* A caring, patient and flexible approach to working with diverse needs
