Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer – Bristol Location: Bristol Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum On-Call Standby Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week A leading facilities management provider is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team at a high-profile commercial site in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a variety of electrical and building services maintenance tasks, with on-call responsibilities and a fully equipped company vehicle provided during on-call weeks. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety standards are met. You will work alongside the site team to support the smooth operation of building services and provide technical expertise when required. Key Responsibilities Undertake planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and associated building services. Ensure compliance with statutory and health & safety regulations. Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 2 weeks) responding to emergencies. Work as part of a multi-skilled team to support overall site operations. Record and report work completed, including faults and corrective actions.Candidate Requirements Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent). Previous experience in a multi-skilled or electrical engineering role within commercial or facilities maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and team-working ability. Flexible approach to work across a range of building services tasks.Package & Benefits Up to £41,000 per annum, permanent contract.
