Do you want to help #BeTheDifference for children, young people and families? We are currently recruiting for an experienced supervising Social Worker within the fostering service. Please note applications will be considered from individuals with at least 2 years post‑qualifying experience.
About the Role
As a Fostering Social Worker you will be responsible for a caseload of mainstream foster carers. Your duties include completing regular supervisory visits, identifying training needs and carrying out annual reviews. You will work proactively with the allocated children's social worker and partner agencies to develop child‑centred, co‑produced plans that reflect the aspirations and sustainability of families.
About the Candidate
The successful applicant will be a team player who demonstrates enthusiasm, the ability to work on their own initiative and to engage with approved foster carers. You will work within the wider fostering team to meet the needs of the fostering service. We require at least 2 years of post‑qualifying experience and the willingness to undertake a DBS check.
