RG consultancy are working with a rapidly expanding company based in Denton, Our client are looking for a Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as you will work closely with the management team.
Duties:
* Oversee the complete fortnightly payroll cycle for around 1,500 employees, encompassing data input, computations, and disbursement of employee salaries.
* Guarantee precise and prompt execution of payroll procedures for all staff, covering regular wages, overtime, incentives, and other remunerations.
* Prepare and submit payroll tax documents (P60s and P11Ds), ensuring accuracy and punctuality to prevent penalties.
* Handle any inquiries or concerns regarding payroll from regulatory bodies.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor payroll personnel, offering guidance and assistance as necessary.
* Coordinate task allocation, prioritize assignments, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
* Conduct performance assessments and furnish feedback to team members.
* Administer benefit schemes like the company's auto-enrolment pension plan, private stakeholder pension schemes, childcare, technology, and cycle schemes.
* Generate the Company's annual Gender Pay Report.
* Assess existing payroll systems, processes, and protocols for continuous enhancement.
* Assist the HR department with miscellaneous duties as required.
The Person:
* CIPP Qualified
* Familiarity with payroll software systems to efficiently manage payroll data, process transactions, and generate reports
