We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team at the care home. About You
As a Care Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your duties include assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Providing care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. You may assist those with limited mobility, offer emotional support to distressed residents, or care for individuals at the end of their life, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
