Cinderford Based Immediate Start- Permanent Contract Full time hours (8:30-3:30) Special Educational Needs School About the school: There are currently fantastic opportunities for motivated, enthusiastic and talented Teachers to join an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) school near Cinderford, on a long-term permanent contract. The school is a vibrant and inclusive community where pupils of all abilities and staff can learn and grow together. They offer a wide range of academic activities and opportunities beyond the classroom, and are always looking for new ways to challenge and inspire our pupils. The school is a specialist provision catering for children and young people from the age of 4 to 16 with Special Educational Needs within the areas of Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning and Sensory and/or Physical needs. About the role: The school is offering successful candidates the choice of Key Stage that they will be teaching. These include Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2. As a Special Educational Needs Teacher you will be responsible for the day to day running of classes, your role will include: To teach a small group of SEND pupils with a range of learning differences. Be a positive and proactive addition to the school Working 1-1 with pupils who require additional support Utilising the facilities and resources available Manage behaviour and maintain a inclusive learning environment Mark work and report to parents and carers about their children's progress Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
