Bromborough Dental Practice is a friendly, family-run private practice currently undergoing exciting renovations to modernise and expand our facilities. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our small, supportive team on a part time basis as we grow.
Role Overview
We are seeking a caring and professional Dental Nurse who will play a key role in providing excellent patient care and assisting our dentists during a variety of treatments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with both patients and colleagues in a close-knit, collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised surgery, following strict cross-infection control procedures in line with HTM 01-05.
* Prepare and maintain equipment, materials, and instruments, including sterilisation and set-up.
* Carry out record keeping and ensure patient notes are accurate and up to date.
* Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure a positive experience.
* Support the wider team by helping with stock control, training and assisting at reception when needed.
* Participate in practice meetings and training sessions to maintain CQC compliance and high clinical standards.
Qualifications & Skills
* Valid qualification in dental nursing and registration with the GDC.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
* A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to high-quality service.
* Familiarity with dental software- Care Stack and IT systems is desirable but not essential—training will be provided.
